Our Foundation
Final Form Regeneration was founded in 2015. After 13 years in mining, Final Form Regeneration’s owner/operator, Tom, wanted a change. As an avid outdoorsman who enjoys the Hunter Region's gorgeous environment, Tom wanted to do more to help generate growth and rehabilitate some of the Hunter's barren landscapes. So, he set a goal for himself to create a business with this primary focus.  Â
In the Beginning
The Final Form Regeneration team started small by securing contracts with Muswellbrook Regional Council for National Tree Day sites. This is where we found our niche in rope and harness, steep bank work.
We committed ourselves to undertake every relevant and available course on offer. In doing so, we now proudly confirm that we have certificates for working with chemicals, chainsaw operation, working at heights, working with children, and many more.
A Few Years Down the Track
We have now built a reputation as the experts in environmental and biodiversity offset management and improvement. We've grown our services to include erosion and sediment repair works, weed management and control, and habitat and corridor offset linkages. Â
We have developed a reputation for creating works that complement the local environment. So, when contracted to do town beautification works, we will ensure that the vegetation is a reflection of the region's natural bushlands. On one of our recent projects, we have been able to reintroduce endangered tree species to the Muswellbrook environment. These are the types of projects that make us proud to do the work we do. Â
Our Team
The Final Form Regeneration team consists of over 20 employees from different backgrounds and reasons for undertaking this work. But we all have the same passion to do better for the environment. We have two environmental scientists on our team, one of whom is permanently contracted to the mines to aid in their restorative work. This is another step forward for our goal of changing the way restorative works are done. Â
Expansion
We have recently expanded to open an Final Form Regeneration branch in Mackay, Queensland. Mackay, like Muswellbrook, is a centralised gateway to the mines. However, the Mackay region also presents its exciting challenges, with a diverse coastal terrain and unique ecosystems found within the mangroves. Our team is looking forward to digging into these environments. Â
Community Engagement
The Final Form Regeneration team is also an active community member. We regularly assist with National Tree Day projects and support and sponsor local grassroots sports. We also like to go into the local schools to run education sessions with students. We talk to them about weed management and identification and get them involved with planting tube stock. These are ways in which we ensure that Final Form Regeneration is leaving a lasting legacy.
